Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified and self-motivated individual to join our team as Aquaculture Training and Education Programme Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and operation of NACA’s Training and Education programme.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive aquaculture training curricula tailored to the needs of diverse stakeholders and in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with network partners to organise and deliver training workshops, seminars, and extension activities, both locally and internationally.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate programme effectiveness through monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Produce high-quality written reports and education / extension materials for dissemination to stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director General.

Requirements

  • Minimum MSc in an aquaculture-related discipline (PhD preferred).
  • Broad experience in aquaculture systems utilised throughout the Asian region.
  • Knowledge of training and extension theory and practices.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, with excellent report writing skills.
  • Willingness to undertake local and international travel.
  • Preference will be given to citizens from NACA member states (Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong SAR (China), India, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Korea (DPR), Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam).
