This fully sponsored, in-person training course will be held in Qingdao, China, from 23 April to 7 May 2023. The course is organised by the Yantai Institute of Coastal Zone Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (YIC-CAS). The course aims to train experts in science and technology, management, and industry for coastal countries.
With a focus on "environmentally-friendly and sustainable mariculture and coastal bioprocessing technology," the training course will provide a comprehensive introduction to satisfy the developmental needs of mariculture and coastal bio-industry.
The organiser, YIC-CAS, will fully sponsor 45 selected international trainees from a pool of applicants, which includes scientists, engineers, college teachers, entrepreneurs, officials (with a master's degree or above), master's/doctoral students, and postdoctoral applicants.
Each trainee will receive sponsorship of international travel expenses (economy tickets) within a budget not exceeding CNY 6,000 per person. Accommodation will also be provided for the course duration.
