Ocean University of China (OUC), in collaboration with universities, research institutes, organisations, and associations, will convene the 2022 China-ASEAN International Forum on "Sustainable Development of Fisheries and Aquaculture Under the Blue Transformation Strategy” from 20 to 22 November 2022.
The China-ASEAN International Forum will cover the following:
The forum will host discussions about the implementation of the “Blue Transformation” strategy, further expansion of the space for fisheries and aquaculture, and ways of improving the production capacity of aquatic products, with the purpose of facilitating the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Call for registration of participants and speakers
The forum aims to promote the high-quality development of fisheries, accelerate industry’s transformation and upgrading, and enable the production of more aquatic products with better quality. China and ASEAN shoulder the important task of carrying out this “Blue Transformation”. The forum will be held in English.
The forum welcomes the participation of colleagues, experts, entrepreneurs, and students from ASEAN countries and organisations working on industrial development, education and training, and scientific and technological innovation in aquaculture and fisheries in ASEAN countries and other regions. Participation in the forum is free of charge but registration is required. A limited number of speaker slots are still available. Applications to present in the forum will be approved by the OUC organisers, please register as soon as possible.
How to register
To participate in the forum, please download the registration forms (linked below), fill them in and return to [email protected] before 7 October 2022. The registration deadline for the applicants from ASEAN countries has been extended to 22 October 2022.
